From the Home screen, tap PROFILES, then tap ADD RIVAL. Enter a name (up to 18 characters), choose a faction — Celestials or Infernals — and pick one of the five faction avatars. Tap Save to finish.
How do I start a match?
Tap START SCOREBOARD on the Home screen. Select one rival from each faction, then choose a format — First to 11, First to 21, Timed 5 min, or Free Play — and tap START BATTLE. You need at least one rival in each faction before you can begin.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required. RivalBoard works entirely offline. Open the app and start playing immediately — no sign-up, no login, no email needed.
How do I score points during a match?
Tap anywhere on a faction’s half of the Live Board to add one point to that side. You can also tap the +1 button directly next to the score. Tap − to subtract one point (the score cannot go below zero).
How do I undo a scoring mistake?
Tap the UNDO button in the center strip of the Live Board. It reverses the most recent score event. You can undo multiple steps in sequence.
What happens when a match ends?
In First to 11 or First to 21 formats, the match ends automatically when a faction reaches the target. In Timed 5 min mode, the countdown reaches zero. In Free Play mode, tap END BATTLE manually. All formats show the Match Result screen with the final score.
Where are my match records?
Finished battles appear in the HALL OF RECORDS tab. Tap any record to open the match detail view, which shows the full point-by-point timeline from start to finish.
How do Standings work?
The STANDINGS tab compares Celestials vs. Infernals across all recorded matches and ranks every rival by win rate. Rivals with the same win rate are sorted by total matches played.
How do I delete a match record?
Open the match in the Hall of Records and tap Delete Record at the bottom of the detail view. Confirm the dialog. The match is removed and standings are updated.
How do I reset all data?
Go to the SETTINGS tab and tap Reset All Data. Confirm the dialog. All rivals, matches, and statistics are permanently erased. This cannot be undone.
Where is my data stored? Is it backed up?
All data is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device, app data is included in that device backup. RivalBoard itself does not perform any network sync or cloud storage.
